About Us
We are a girl's select soccer program registered with Washington State Youth Soccer Association via Cascade Soccer Club and Greater Renton Junior Soccer Association. This is our second year as a team and for 2008 we are planning on playing the highest level that we can. We will be going to LPT's and playing in 3 or 4 tournaments.
To teach the beautiful game of soccer (better and *correctly* known to the rest of the world as Futbol) to Velocity players to the best of the coaching staff's ability. The primary emphasis is on having fun in a highly competitive environment. The girls need to learn how to love to compete regardless of their win/loss record... It's the belief of the coaching staff that if the girls can learn to truly love the 'game' then they'll be able to enjoy the game for the rest of their lives and not get burnt out by worrying about their wins or losses.
Velocity FC '93 Green Coaching Staff~
The head coach for Velocity FC '93 Green is Brenda FitzGerald. Brenda previously coached for 7+ successful years through KYSA and the Kent Parks programs. Brenda has been joined by Peter Davies who previously coached the FC Wild with Highlands Soccer Club for 6 + years. Velocity FC and Cascade Soccer Club are happy that Brenda and Peter have chosen to coach as part of Velocity FC. This is there second year of coaching Velocity 93 Green.
