Holiday Party

Dear all,

Below is the sign up list for the party again.  Please sign up to bring one of the items.  For those who signed up previously, please re-sign up as I deleted the prior information.  I will provide updates as we go along so people know who is bringing what.

Pizza will be ordered for the group and money will be collected at the party to cover the costs.  Please let us know the number of family members to expect so we can plan for the pizza.  Teresa Badgley (Julie's mom) has offered to order and bring the pizza and will get a variety.  If you have any special requests (due to allergies or other), please let her know.

 Hello Velocity 93's,

Here is all the information on our annual Thanksgiving bowling party!!  PLEASE let me know by Monday - one way or other- whether you will be attending.  It will be a lot of fun!

Coach Brenda FitzGerald

4th Annual Velocity FC Thanksgiving Weekend Bowling Party

ACME Bowl wants to handle this a bit differently this year...

They want to schedule the whole thing in a 'block' rather than six separate teams calling in.

What's easier for us isn't easier for them so we'll try it their way this year.  So, I've set aside 10 lanes for the players (last year we took up 12 or 13 but that included parents & other family members).  The ten lanes are for a total of 80 players (8 per lane).

Date:  Nov 29th Time:  1:30-3 pm Food & Drink:  Pizza & Soda provided for the players Bowling:

Included in price Shoe Rental:  Included in price Cost:  $17.50 per player (unless subsidized by each, individual team.  For example, the '92 teams will be subsidized via their team account for $7.50 each bringing the cost down to $10 per player).

I need to go back on Monday and put up the amount.  So, here's what I need ASAP:

Head Count from each team with how many players from the team will be participating.  This is a solid commitment to participate since I will be paying up front for the entire thing and will then be reimbursed after the fact (teams will pay me back after at the event).  If players/parents commit and then back out they will still be responsible for their share of the cost. I need to know the overall count by Monday morning when I go in to sign the contract.

Please, please, please let me know as quickly as possible so that I can make adjustments to the contract as needed.   Also, parents & other family members are welcome to bowl but they will have to rent a lane on their own.  I do not know the pricing on that.

Thanks Gary

Hi Everyone,

The count down has started for the big upcoming wine tasting fund raiser event this Friday, August 1st from 7:30 - 9:30.  Below is a list of what people are bringing so far. For those of you who have not signed up yet for a dessert or appetizer, please do so.  We are also in need of plates, napkins and utensils.  If anyone would like to bring any of these items, please let me know.   I am not sure how many people are coming as of yet but we will probably need 50 - 75 plates, napkins and utensils.  If anyone has any left over tickets, please let me know.  We are trying to gauge how many people will be coming.  Remember, we are asking each family to sell 5 tickets so we can make this event a success.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday.

 Hi everyone,

As you know, our wine tasting fund raiser is on August 1st at E.B. Foote Winery in Burien.  Peter handed out tickets last week to most of the parents already.  If you have not received tickets let me know and we will make sure that you get as many tickets as you need.  We would like each family to try and sell 5 tickets.  Of course if you need more, let us know.  You can have as many as you need.  Total occupancy is 140 and I had 120 tickets printed.  It would be great to have a big turn out.

Please sign up for an appetizer or dessert:  If possible, please list what you plan on bringing so we  have a good variety of appetizers verses desserts.

1.  Krzycki's - Cheese plate and chocolate covered strawberries

2.

Please collect the money ahead of time and put it in a sealed envelope and give it to me.  I will then forward it to Peter or Patty to deposit it for the team after we have paid E.B. Foote their cut.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know.  It should be a lot of fun.

Sue and Jim Krzycki
